The new Ribbon keeps the commands that you use most often visible while you’re working instead of hiding under menus or toolbars that you have to hunt for. Also, commands that you may not have known about before are now very easy to discover. When it comes to designing your slides, live preview of style galleries lets you see how things such as backgrounds and shape formatting will look before you apply them. A new SmartArt graphics feature offers new diagram types and more layout options, and lets you convert text such as a bulleted list into a diagram.

|Beware: $20 a month to access content,
I was excited to find this book, but after I downloaded it I discovered that the audio and video is only available through Safari books which costs $19.99 a month or $42.99 a month to access the content. There is a free ten day trial.

Does anybody know of a free powerpoint viewer or any viewer for ppsx files that once my customers download it..it will automatically associate to be the default viewer for ppsx files? I tried Microsoft Office PowerPoint viewer 2007 which will of course open a ppsx file but it does not automatically associate with it and I’m spending to much time with people that have poor navigation skills trying to get them to open the ppsx files. I need something to automatically associate to be default viewer

Any time.
After setting the clock to the right time (had to change it only a few minutes) and re-starting my computer; finally there appeared a message when trying to open Powerpoint. It said that it has some bad issues with ‘Camtasia add-in’ (I have Camtasia Studio 7 installed on my computer). Then it asked if I want the add-in to be blocked. I clicked on ‘Yes’ and then Powerpoint opened!
Thank you very much!!
I had a similar problem with my Rosetta Stone program a few weeks ago. Check your computer’s clock, and see if it is correct. If it isn’t, set it to the right time. Then, right-click PowerPoint, and click OPEN. If it still doesn’t open, then you might need to change the program’s internal components. Call Microsoft tech-support, they’ll be glad to help you (trust me, they helped me for four hours!).
My Powerpoint won’t open, all the Office 2007 programs are working fine exept for powerpoint. I have windows 7 and the legal version of Microsoft Office 2007 (Professial PLUS).
I already tried re-installing it but it still doesn’t work.
Anyone knows what’s the problem?
